The app's AI was trained on 1,200+ life expectancy studies covering 53 million people. It goes way beyond basic actuarial tables, asking about everything from mental health to your family's medical history. Then—surprise!—it tells you exactly when to schedule your goodbye party. ⚰️

Developer Brent Franson says it's a "pretty significant" upgrade from standard life tables. And while the app comes complete with a Grim Reaper farewell card (staying on brand, we see), it's not just about the shock value.

The app might be more novelty than financial revolution, but it highlights a universal worry: making sure our money lasts as long as we do. Financial planner Ryan Zabrowski says the biggest fear for retirees isn't death—it's outliving their money. More accurate death predictions could lead to retirees trading their 'safe and steady' strategies for a more aggressive, stock-heavy approach.
